Middle Park Townhouse
Status: Completed 2020
On a heritage significant site containing an existing 3 story Art Deco block of flats, MUSK have navigated the town planning process to deliver a contemporary townhouse extension. Utilising the street-fronted side space to the main building, a new form is integrated around a variety of existing boundary wall elements to create a richly faceted dwelling. Screens soften the hard connection to the street face allowing the large windows to connect the occupants to the magnificent plane trees directly in front.
Combining the large screened openings with a reduced palette of luxury colour and textures, the interiors are soaked in an abundance of natural light to promote a calm and uplifting ambiance
