Woolamai Beach House

On a rare greenfield site at Phillip Island’s Cape Woolamai, this two storey beach house captures substantial views across Cleeland Bight and out to Bass Strait. The design is a contemporary reinterpretation of the recognisable stilted beach house vernacular that is prevalent in the local area.  It’s spatial arrangement balances multi-family holiday activities of beach, backyard cricket and barbequing with elevated internal and external living spaces of the main stilted pavilion.
